How to install a fire extinguisher

The extinguisher is easy to install. Be placed in a visible, accessible and high-risk areas, for example in the kitchen. Avoid the common error to place behind curtains or furniture, or inside a drawer.

How to use the fire extinguisher

STEP 1: Pull the ring pin to remove the seal.
STEP 2: Push the lever.
STEP 3: Direct the spray at the base of the flame, trying to keep the bottle upright.

How to keep the fire extinguisher:

• Periodic review of placement of the extinguisher and be checked for ease of access, and the state of all its elements: pressure, seals, hose ...
• Every year the manufacturer or the authorized maintainer perform maintenance operations established.
• Every 5 years the manufacturer or the authorized maintainer made the hydraulic test (retimbrado) and others to verify proper operation.
•  The extinguisher has a maximum life of 20 years since its construction if they pass the previous tests
